A 6 (10) kV K-59 outdoor cubicle switchboard is designed to receive and distribute electric power of three-phase alternating current of an industrial frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage of 6 and 10 kV.
A K-59 outdoor cubicle switchboard is used to equip 6 (10) kV switchboards of different purpose substations, also for substations of oil, gas, coal, metal and machine-building industry facilities, substations of oil fields, in electric-power industry, for the needs of power stations, in distribution networks of the energy industry, city municipal networks, substations for power supply of agricultural consumers, as well as railway transport substations.
